In simple terms, “Dumbags” are sandbags, of various sizes and weights, designed for use in fitness and personal training environments. They are designed to be a safe, adaptable, and practical alternative to hard/metal based weights such as dumbells and kettlebells.
Mix them. Stack them. Pack them. Throw them.
Dumbags are a completely new product, for the health and fitness market. As simple as they appear there is still nothing like this on the market.
In simple terms, “Dumbags” are sandbags, of various sizes and weights, designed for use in fitness and personal training environments. They are designed to be a safe, adaptable, and practical alternative to hard/metal based weights such as dumbells and kettlebells.
Dumbags consist of an incredibly tough and durable PVC Outer Bag, combined with an equally durable synthetic Inner bag. The inner bag has been simply, yet ingeniously, designed so that you can just pour sand into the spout of the inner bag – tie it in a not, and pack back inside the outer bag. Even better is the fact that the basic range of 6 sizes gives you more than 20 weight combinations as kettlebells and 7 weight combinations as pairs of dumbells. (*see graph at bottom for full breakdown)
There are even more benfeits:
  •  YOU CAN ALSO DOUBLE THE WEIGHT OF EVERY BAG – JUST FILL WITH METAL SHOT/FILLINGS. THEY ARE DESIGNED AND MANUFACTURED TO HOLD MORE THAN TWICE THE WEIGHT.
  •  Their flexible handles allow the user to comfortably hold 2, 3, or more at a time.
  •  In fact, the action of gripping more bags actually assists in the workout (eg not only increased weight but similar to squeezing spring-loaded hand grippers*).
  • By being able to hold more than 1 weight at a time anyone can quickly and easily change weights, ie by simply adding another bag or changing the mix of sizes.
  • You don’t even need to use the handles, we have been using them in our fitness classes for a long time and we have many exercise where people just hold the bag on either side (without holding the handles)
  • They can be used like medicine balls, ie thrown, caught, etc 
We know they work we have been using them for years in our own fitness businesses and part of the reason we have decided to produce them is that people have kept asking to buy them.
